Major Client Benefit: Simple web-based interface, with the ability to offer both real time and scheduled information and promotions via SMS to opt-in with confidential subscriber lists

BizCaster® is i-POP’s user-friendly web service that allows clients and advertising agencies to run their own SMS marketing campaigns with little or no intervention from the vendor. Its name sums up what it does: it’s the business broadcaster!

Although the original interface will normally be customised, branded, and secured specifically for the clients’ benefit, the basic range of features and functions are ready to serve once it is activated, whether it is to upload and manage specific contact lists or quickly roll out the latest SMS marketing campaign requirement.

BizCaster® Back-end Management 1

BizCaster® can be used in multiple contexts and has a core foundation of technologies that make its operation smooth and simple. Utilising a Java-based Struts framework, a series of menus will engage the user and make for easy set up and customisation of the text content. This includes the immediate as well as forward scheduling of SMS broadcasts. The entire backend configuration is dealt with by i-POP’s platforms (such as bMX® and mINT®) to enable the distribution of SMS information or promotion broadcasts to upwards of 200 countries.

Useful extra features like dynamic TPOA (user-IDs) are available, which enables clients to configure a sender name, such as *CitiBank*, or *StanChart* in the header thereby reinforcing their brand image.

BizCaster® Back-end Management 2

BizCaster® distributes SMS through its bMX® connection via a low cost bulk channel service. i-POP is constantly on the look-out for the best rates through a global range of providers. Essentially, the more SMS that is sent, the cheaper the unit cost can become. Standard features include: contact information management by user group, events organiser by campaigns and messages broadcast tool via SMS - both automatic and manual; utilities such as import/export of contacts; and reporting tools that track activity and in certain countries recipient responses.

In terms of SMS Schedule Management downstream clients can: send message to 1 contact/send message to 1 group of contacts, send personalized messages, and send messages to overseas contacts, set recurring schedules/automatic sending of scheduled messages, and get full history logs for messages.

In terms of Contact Management, clients can: Create multiple contacts/Create multiple contact groups, Link contacts to multiple contact groups, Create contacts’ events dates, Create additional remark fields to contact profiles, as well as import, export & backup user data.
