Scott provides great insight into the field of interactive technology for i-POP Networks, leveraging on years of experience heading his interactive corporation, TouchMedia, a regional technology manufacturing and integration organisation with investments in many technology-based companies. Backed by his corporate experiences at Coca-Cola and Lexmark in Asia Pacific as well as his fluency in Japanese, he served as regional director for MicroTouch based in Japan and later Taiwan, before forming TouchMedia. Scott brings with him a wealth of knowledge in both embedded hardware and network technologies which prove as extremely valuable assets to i-POP's technical project implementations. Scotts invaluable business relationships and technical commissioning expertise has enabled the pioneer build-out and productisation of i-POP's unique mBOX interactive broadcasting solution series.
Scott is alsofounder investor in a number of technology companies within Asia and the US, including Global Online Japan, Evoserve Philippines and Edsa Mail.
Scott holds a BBus from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Masters in Management from Sophia University, Japan.
Daphne Chua brings to i-POP Networks her extensive media and entertainment experience from independent film studio Bigfoot Entertainment as well as her regional television broadcast experience from Sony Pictures AXN channel one of Asias leading international TV networks.
Daphne championed the global communications strategy for Bigfoot Entertainment as an integrated media outfit. She initiated the organisations PR leap into the Hollywood-dominated entertainment trade publications and blue-chip business journals while working closely with independent producers and filmmakers in the publicity of various media content for distribution. Daphne also instigated the launch of Bigfoot Film Fund in Philippines and Singapore with the support of the Philippine Film Development Council and the Media Development Authority of Singapore.
At AXN, she was the power behind AXNs highly successful urban adventure race series the AXN Challenge franchise. As Event Director and Regional Race Commander, she was responsible for the conceptualisation, marketing, lobbying, publicity, logistics, and television productions of countless successful regional events.
In addition to organising regional adventure sport events, Daphne, as Marketing Manager, spearheaded numerous PR, consumer, and trade events for AXN across Asia, including the AXN Xtreme reality series in various regions as Production and Publicity Manager.
Prior to AXN, Daphne worked in a public-listed publishing house handling advertising sales. She has also served marketing roles with leading cosmetic brand, Elizabeth Arden and luxury retail brands Georg Jensen and Royal Copenhagen. .
Dylan Castagne
Senior Project Manager
With over a decade of experience in technical solutions, pre-sales and project management in the UK and Asia IT services arena, Dylan has worked directly with many Fortune 500 companies in the development and implementation of marketing and communications systems. His experience in consulting and technical implementation of new media solutions enables him to thoroughly understand both the technological and commercial aspects of i-POP's business model as the leading integrated Mobile Services Provider in Asia.
Dylan started his IT career with Xpedite Systems in London where he was responsible for consultancy, implementation and management of mission-critical messaging systems for financial institutions and blue chip clients such as Nokia, Merrill Lynch, ING Barings, ABN Amro and Credit Suisse. Dylan successfully implemented regional CRM and email marketing solutions for Nokia Europe, and spearheaded many new data management projects to the market with projects worth up to US$7 million a year.
Upon his relocation to Singapore as Technical Support Manager for South East Asia, Dylan oversaw major accounts and championed major e-commerce projects for Xpedite. He was also responsible for designing solutions for multiple new services and for introducing them to the regional market.
Dylans most recent stint was with international recruitment consultancy Robert Walters handling IT contracting.
Harold Alcala has been committed in the information technology industry for more than eight years and has since made his mark as one of the most sought-after developer/architect in this region. His unique and exceptional engineering ideas paved his way from a Software Engineer to IT Manager and earned him great respect and recognition from his superiors, competitors and peers.
He graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science as a top students of his class. His skills range from simple embedded to complicated enterprise level systems; from standalone, distributed to mobile-enabled systems; and from application security to network security.
He is the chief architect of i-POP Networks 2nd and 3rd generation main platforms that employs modularity, optimization, and cost-effective approach.
Emily Ng
Project Manager
Emily is Project Manager of i-POP Networks, brings with her over 6 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industry. She oversees the technical and commercial aspects of key projects across Asia Pacific with a range of multi-faceted clients in the mobile arena. Emily also manages relationships with operators in the region to ensure value-add to every project and campaign.
Previously with MobileOne Ltd as Systems Analyst handling campaign management system for all mobile services, Emily performed the analysis and optimization of strategies for marketing campaigns in which she was responsible for reducing churn and increasing the take-up rate of services like GPRS packages, Caller Number Identification and MMS transactions.
Emily spent 4 years with Maxis Communications Bhd, the leading mobile operator in Malaysia. Her duties include overseeing projects in Mobile Data and Voice Services. Emily spearheaded the implementation of Content Management System to facilitate download and charging of data contents like wallpapers and ringtones, as well as the development of Maxis WAP portals for news, music and sports. As Product Manager for Mobile Voice, she was instrumental in launching and managing projects related to bill plans and voice services for Maxis corporate customers.
Prior to Maxis, Emily first started in the technology arena with Swedish company Industrial & Financial Systems specialising in Enterprise Resource Planning, where she customised and developed IT systems to improve clients business process. Emily currently writes for a mobile industry publication in Malaysia titled Mobile World.
Marieza Undasan
Vice President, Sales and Business Development
Marieza brings to i-POP her strategic expertise in sales, business development and client services. Her pan-Asian experience with multinational corporations enabled her to consistently sustain and develop new revenue streams with blue-chip organisations such as ESPN, MTV Asia, FremantleMedia and CNN through customisations of their mobile campaigns or marketing portfolio.
Prior to i-POP, Marieza championed the direct sales and business development strategies to create market awareness and grow the revenue pipeline of INSEADs business research services, while ensuring clients market intelligence requirements are fulfilled. Her efforts also eventuated in the clinching of major account with Computer Associates.
Marieza is no stranger in the development of clients portfolio within the IT arena. Her stints with companies such as Xpedite, Terrapinn, Gartner, Strategic Publishing (now known as Fairfax) and Dow Jones has facilitated an impressive portfolio of clients such as Merrill Lynch, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, Nokia, TNT, and DHL. Marieza has consistently delivered over and above annual sales forecasts in the realm of IT solutions, business intelligence/research services, enterprise solutions, IT advertising sales and financial information services
Colin Miles
Executive Vice President and Co-Founder
Colin is EVP and co-founder of i-POP Networks where he has spent the past several years evangelising the marketing power as well as the revenue-generating potential of mobile services.
Through Colins efforts in spearheading mobile marketing within Asia, he has struck strategic partnerships and business alliances with many blue-chip and media accounts such as ESPN STAR Sports, MTV Asia, CNBC, STAR TV, FremantleMedia, Sony Pictures/AXN Asia and Nokia.
Colin also plays a key role in the creation and execution of many pioneering interactive mobile projects in Asia, particularly where SMS, MMS and rich media content are used to engage, interact and build relationships with audiences through the use of mobile phones. His most recent projects include the launch of Mobile ESPN Asia via Bridge Mobile Alliance and the development of a strong WAP presence for AXN Asia.
Prior to i-POP, Colin worked in the field of Enterprise software & services development for a leading e-Commerce applications provider.
Colin holds an Honours degree in Publishing & English from Oxford Brookes University. His expertise in the media, e-commerce and mobile arena has spanned across Asia in the last 12 years.
Colin was chairman of the Mobile Broadcasting and Digital Content Conference in Singapore (2006) and has had two White Papers published for Broadcast Asia. He is also a regular conference speaker and participant in MobileMonday in Singapore.
Mark Brimblecombe
Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder
Mark is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of i-POP Networks, bringing with him over 12 years of innovative entrepreneurial expertise in the IT/internet/mobile arena as well as senior management experience.
Capitalising on his leadership flair from his impressive stint with TNT Express Worldwide Group and having established a clear vision for the commercial application of interactive technology, Mark led the creation of 2 regional technology startups i-POP Networks and Net Megastore - with headquarters based in Singapore.
At Net Megastore, Mark provided the entrepreneurial foresight in the development of technology for the online sale of music and videos in Asia. He was instrumental in driving the organization into a fast-growing Application Service Provider (ASP) business under his executive leadership in e-commerce, logistics, CRM development, and client integration with blue-chip companies like Viviendi-Universal, HMV Group and MTV Networks.
In 2002, Mark co-founded i-POP Networks with the vision to pioneer the emergence of mobile marketing solutions within Asia, specifically focusing on the use of wireless interactivity to enhance the ability of i-POP's clients to simulate meaningful mobile content. Mark championed strategic alliances with content distributors such as FremantleMedia, and established direct premium mobile billing connections with global operators across Asia. He created the network infrastructure and software platforms for a range of turn-key mobile application solutions catering to interactive TV for networks such as Mediacorp, Star TV, ESPN, MTV, AXN, National Geographic, Nickelodeon etc; thereby securing i-POP Networks foothold as the premier mobile media player in Asia.
Mark is currently a member of Infocomm Development Authority Singapores Digital Media Sub-Committee for the development of media strategies in Singapore.
